Roulette- Table Layout

Roulette is a French Word which means “small wheel”. It is a type of most joyous and attractive game played at a leisurely pace. The Roulette player may win huge money if he picks up the exact numbers. Players may bet on the wider ranges and may win nearly 50% of the time.

The betting areas are covered with cloth covering the Roulette Table which is known as a “layout.” The layout is sometimes a single zero or double zero. The French style layout consists of only one zero on the other hand American style layout consists of two zero’s. With only one wheel at the end the American Style roulette table is now being used in most of the casinos all over the world.

With the wheel in the centre and the layout on the either side of the wheel which is in the French style of roulette table is not much found, it is sometimes found on the outskirts of Monte Carlo. At a very first glance, the Roulette table is found to be complex with layout and a wheel in the centre. The game is not as complicated as the table is and it is very simple to understand.

It is very easy to understand the game and the affairs which are related to such a betting game. Roulette table consists of some typical parts which are common to all the Roulette tables used in every part of the world. The Roulette tables which are used now in many of the casinos worldwide can easily accommodate around six to seven players in all and on the table layout there is numbers written on which the players can bet on.

There are mainly three column areas in the Roulette table layout consisting of neatly labeled 36 numbers from 1 to 38. These numbers are arranged in regular pattern and the boxes are in two colors, one is red and other one is black. In addition to those 36 boxes and there are other two houses which are marked as 0 and 00 and in the centre there is a wheel and a ball is used to determine the winner.

There are two additional boxes in the layout of the table of Roulette which one can see clearly and its color is also different from other boxes, it is green in color. These boxes don’t have identical as the other boxes have; they are not rectangular in shape. They are situated on the lead end column. The outer boxed sections determine the type of betting one can make in the game.

The last and final component of the table which is one of the most critical component is the wheel, it only decides whether one who has made a bet on some number or a range of numbers win or loose because it is components which revolves the ball around.
